Sketches: The Scientist final sketch designs

These designs of the Scientist are a last collaboration of ideas between the group in attempt to help fit the character into the world that the trailer is set amongst. The art direction follows the same style as the rest of the enviromental concepts, whilst still keeping some sense of a CG world and not being fully realistic.

The top two pictures amongst these images are to be combined together to create the final scientist. As a group we like how the top left character's facial characteristics work, however we prefer the body on the top right character. The bottom left character is a quick sketch out of how it should look (and act) when these two aspects are merged. This same principle will apply to the other characters, to a greater extent as well as they need the most work to sit comfortably in the world we have created.
