Using the same style used in the 1950's posters, I tried to create something similar for my film title " The Invisible Cannibals from Beyond the Stars", however being a long title I found difficult to get the composition right. But so far here is what I came up with.
So please B3D Give Feedback!! and choose what design fits better.
I like the shape of the text (the way it's presented) on the first example.
ReplyDeleteI think only the 'Invisible cannibals' should be stroked. (Not literaly mind you) The rest of the text (I think) should be a solid colour. Preferebly not yellow as it doesnt stand out against white.
In saying that, chances are, its going to have a black background in the trailer.
I'm personaly not that keen on the glow effect. Too photoshop.
I don't know why, but I think if invisibilaty had to have a colour, it would have to be electric blue. So maybe experiment with the top example but with 'Invisible Cannibals' in blue and the rest as... erm... something else. Maybe a diferent shade of blue.
I've said too much... Bye
My money's on the middle design - 'cannibals' is a 'red' word absolutely!
ReplyDeleteThanks on the feedback... and yes I can post on pc but not on mac :(
ReplyDeleteTry taking away the white and just leaving the glow. e.g. leaving invisible text.
